It's Thursday! I'm here. And here's the newest painting of what I am calling the flower faces series.
If you've been following my work, you know this series is a new direction for me. I am enjoying experimenting with the faces in the flowers that I love to paint.

This week's podcast is "Life of Reilly". Inspired by observing a day in the life of Reilly the cat. One of my favorite's so far! check it out here.

Happy Creative Thursday!

This is it - it's a Thursday and the official beginning of the blog. Yes, along with the podcast there is yet one more way to stay connected to Creative Thursday and me. My intent is to have a post on Thursdays in conjunction with the podcast. Any links related to what I talk about in the podcast will be listed here. This will also be a place where I post my newest painting! One a week. I'm on a mission - prolific creativity kicking in!

I've decided today that my official title is Marisa Haedike :: "painter and a podcaster".

This first Thursday, I am loading up my newest painting, painted yesterday at 6 am - There's something about the early morning hours. So quiet, especially for Los Angeles. She's doesn't have a name yet, but the first that popped into my mind is Rosey.
